In the following the standard course of treatment planning with special consideration of the MLC will be described.

The CT slices are transferred to Cadplan as DICOM images from the local radiology dept. (Somatom Plus 4) or from the CT option at our Simulator (Varian Ximatron). After contouring the slices in Cadplan, the patient is ready for treatment planning.
