The MLC fields are generated in
Beams Eye View
(
automatically
or with the mouse) and are
exported
as a part of the
treatment plan
into the VARiS system.
Alternatively, MLC shapes can be generated or modified with the
"Shaper"
or in
VARiS Vision
.
At the Clinac, the
Verification System (VARiS)
displays a Static MLC.
The
picture window
gives information over the momentary shape of the MLC.
During the treatment, correct patient set-up and MLC shape are verified with
PortalVision
.
The PortalVision images can be reviewed on every single of the 30 VARiS PC's, not only on dedicated workstations.
