Developed for the mobile oncologist who likes to edit MLCs while waiting for the subway, PalmVision is currently being tested. The PalmVision Software is a pocket edition that runs on all Palm handhelds of the m500 series.

There are certainly restrictions due to the small screen size of 160 x 160 pixels, therefore the functionality had to be reduced. But it is possible to edit MLCs, review and approve images and other routine tasks that can be done while offline. When arrived at the office, the oncologist uses HotSync to synchronize his/her Palm with the VARiS/Vision database of the IRO.
