The crossplane profiles in dmax for 15 MV, field size 30x30 cm, SSD70, show a modification of the "horns":

The curve with the white dots is with DAVID installed.

The same can be observed inplane and also for 6 MV. With respect to the central axis, lateral dose is decreased with DAVID by up to 1%.

The effect does not depend on SSD. Here are the 15 MV profiles at SSD100:

If one wishes to compensate this effect, there is no simple solution. One way is to establish a separate beam model for DAVID in the treatment planning system.
