Conclusion and Outlook

Although the system sometimes crashes, Cadplan proved to be a valuable tool for doing day to day treatment planning. The user interface is easy to handle and nearly self-explanatory. This gives also non-technical staff the chance to learn the treatment planning very quickly. If this weren't so, the system would not have been accepted by the physicians in our department.

 

In the MLC Workshop section of my Homepage I mentioned the enhanced capabilities of Cadplan 3.1 concerning the Conformal MLC when compared to Cadplan 2.7. This topic is covered elsewhere on this site.
