The Varian Experience
This evening, the Institute of Radiooncology appeared in Austrian Television. A man was portrayed in his struggle for a disability pension. In his whole life, he underwent surgery 21 times. And if this were not enough, he now fights head and neck cancer (which is treated in our department).
The film team accompanied him during a full day.
One of our Radiation Oncologists, Dr. Gerber, gave an interview.
At least the public interest of the last weeks has helped: the pension was finally granted!
